Big Island Dinner Cruise Details

This dinner cruise has a lot going for it. The food is absolutely delicious, they cater to dietary restrictions, the boat is wheelchair and family-friendly, plus the narration and live entertainment add a lot of value to the experience.

Meet your tour operator 30 minutes before departure at their retail store in Kailua-Kona, just a few blocks from Kailua Pier where your catamaran departs. You’ll be welcomed aboard this 65′ vessel for historical narration, great food, gorgeous views, and live entertainment.

Enjoy a three-course meal and a complimentary cocktail. The specific dishes on their menu are subject to change, so be sure to check what will be served for your cruise date, but everyone raves about the quality of the food. They offer a vegan/vegetarian meal upon request, and they also provide gluten-free options.

One thing we love about this cruise is the accessibility. Not only do they accommodate dietary needs, but their vessel is wheelchair accessible, which is uncommon. The whole family truly can join in on this cruise regardless of age, stage, or mobility needs.

Big Island Dinner Cruise FAQ

What is the cancellation policy?

Parties of nine or fewer will receive a full refund with 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. Parties of ten to 19 require 72 hours’ notice. Parties of 20 or more require seven days’ notice of cancellation. Full refunds will be given in case of operator cancellation.

Is there a bathroom on board?

Yes! There are actually three bathrooms on board, so you don’t have to worry about the kiddo who told you, “but I don’t have to go right now” just before boarding.

What should I bring?

You may want to bring a light jacket and sunglasses or a hat, but sunscreen is provided on board, and you won’t have to worry too much about sun exposure, as there is plenty of shade.

Will we see whales or dolphins?

You’re very likely to see dolphins on the cruise year-round, and humpback whales will be around December through March, so your chances of seeing them then is high but not guaranteed for this cruise.

Is there free parking?

There is free parking at Body Glove’s retail store where you’ll meet before the cruise.

Is this a good tour for cruise ship passengers?

If you are traveling aboard Norwegian, Holland, Royal Caribbean Carnival, or Princess Cruise Lines , you will need to make your reservations through their Shore Excursions. The Cruise Lines hold blocks of seats for their guests. If you were to book direct or through other third parties, they cannot guarantee you will have priority for disembarking to make the cruise.

About Body Glove

Body Glove runs multiple different tours year-round from sunset dinner cruises to snorkel tours to whale watching in the winter. Their two vessels were made for having a great time, and they certainly don’t disappoint.
