Our Experience:

Check out our experience on the Atlantis Submarine from Maui! It’s the same tour as Waikiki, so you can see the sub and our overall rating, but pricing has changed. We compare it to the ReefDancer Semi-Sub, which was unfortunately lost to the Lahaina Fire, but it’s still fun to see the differences and keep the memories. Both were wonderful experiences.

Oahu: Waikiki Submarine Adventure Details

If you (or your little ones) have ever wanted to go in a real-life submarine, this is your chance! This 1.5-hour tour starts at the Hilton Hawaiian Village 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. You can choose if you’d like narration, which can be downloaded before heading out.

You’ll take a shuttle boat to the submarine itself, enjoying views of Diamond Head and, if you’re visiting in the winter months, possibly even whales on the way! You’ll transfer from the shuttle boat onto the sub and begin your descent 100 feet underwater.

The submarine will actually taxi just above the ocean floor, and this is your chance to see green sea turtles, sharks, yellow tangs, eels, sunken ships, and other natural and man-made objects that have found themselves below the ocean’s surface.

This tour is a great alternative or addition to snorkeling and departs from a really convenient area in Waikiki.
