Quick Overview
Nestled within the renowned Wailea Resort Community, the Palms at Wailea offers a tranquil retreat for your Maui vacation. This charming apartment complex comprises 150 units, each situated within a Mediterranean-style, two-story building. Consequently, your stay here feels more like residing in a private home rather than a typical 1- or 2-bedroom apartment.
The units are thoughtfully equipped with everything you require for a short or extended stay, featuring full kitchens, in-unit laundry facilities, and private lanais or patios for basking in the sun. It’s worth noting that since these apartments are individually owned, the presence of air conditioning may vary, so be sure to verify the listing if this is a crucial factor for you.
While the complex isn’t situated directly along the shoreline, it’s a mere 10 to 15-minute stroll to the picturesque Keawakapu Beach. Alternatively, you can take a refreshing dip in the distinctive whale-shaped pool on the property for an early morning or late afternoon swim. Due to its slightly inland location, the units here tend to offer a more budget-friendly option compared to beachfront condos.
Palms at Wailea Review: why we loved it
We stayed at the Palms at Wailea for a week with two kids and four adults and our stay was excellent. We loved being able to walk to Keawakapu Beach or into Wailea. Though it wasn’t in the center of everything, it was a lot less expensive than other resorts that are more centrally located.
The pool was also great for our kids. It was large enough our five year old could enjoy himself and there was also a large step area that our toddler loved testing her boundaries on. All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this again!
