The Hawaii Tourism Authority is encouraging visitors to hire a local guide to help them navigate the Road to Hana. Traffic and illegal parking have become an issue along the famous route. Tour guides can help relieve this issue. Not only is using a tour guide recommended, but it will also help make your trip more pleasant. What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your tour, please do so 48 hours prior to the tour starting for a full refund. If you are within 48 hours, there is no refund.
You will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
What are the meal options?
This tour includes an exclusive continental breakfast service at Maui Tropical Planation of
fresh baked goods (which may include croissants, scones, muffins), fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and POG juice
Lunch is included. In Hana, you will enjoy a buffet-style luncheon catered by Cafe O’lei. The meal includes Asian salad (GF/DF) baby greens, julienne vegetables, ginger-sesame vinaigrette, local style macaroni salad (DF), huli huli chicken (GF/DF) with a sweet smoky glaze, and steamed Rice (GF/DF). The vegan option is Thai Coconut Veggie Tofu Curry. Make sure to select vegan at checkout.

What should I bring?
Please dress for all weather. The Road to Hana is in a rainforest so expect rain at some point during the day. A light jacket and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
We also encourage you to bring your own water bottle (but cold water bottles are provided), plenty of reef-safe sunscreen, and cash to spend at various roadside stands.
What are the tour details?
Your tour begins with a guide picking your party up right outside your South or West Maui accommodation and bringing you to a wonderful continental breakfast.
The guide will make multiple stops throughout the day based on your group’s interests, local history, cultural importance, or simply because it is so beautiful, you have to get out and look closer.
The tour makes a stop to enjoy lunch in Hana which is included in your tour.
They make stops at beach overlooks, Waianapanapa State Park (black sand beach swim), a place to swim in a waterfall pool and so much more. They even stop to watch the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles too!
