Kauai Surf Lessons Details
Kauai Surf School provides surf lessons for beginning to intermediate surfers ages 4 and older. These lessons are held on an excellent beach for learning how to surf and are available year-round. They offer group, semi-private, and private surf lessons, so book depending on your needs!

Group Surf Lessons: Up to 4 students per instructor. They can also accommodate large groups while keeping their ratio low.
Semi-Private/Private Surf Lessons: Either 2 or 3 students for one instructor or one-on-one.
They also offer kids private lessons for 1 to 2 children.
All surf lessons are 1.5 hours long, which is a great length to teach you all you need to know and finish out hitting the water with confidence.
Their beach for surfing is conveniently located in Poipu, a popular resort destination. The surf is the best during the summer due to southern swells. But, you can surf year round here. Poipu Beach and Kiahuna Beach made our Best Kauai Beaches for Swimming list.

Where do we meet?
Check-in is at the Kiahuna Beach Shack in front of the Kiahuna Plantation Resort at least 15 minutes prior to your lesson time.
Where can I park?
Public parking is available is available at the end of Poipu Beach Road across from the Sheraton Resort.
What is included?
The use of a beginner surfboard and UV protective surf shirt/rash guard are provided, so just come ready to get in the water. Knowing how to swim is a requirement for these lessons.
