Watch our experience at the Hawaiian Vanilla Co.
Our family visited the Hawaiian Vanilla Co. after a newsletter reader sent us a glowing review. We loved our experience and bought a vanilla extract kit which will be done in 6-9 months!

Hawaiian Vanilla Tour Details
Take your choice between their farm tour luncheon and their farm tour only, giving you a nice taste of the vanilla they grow and harvest while learning about the process.
We opted for the farm tour only and loved the presentation under the tent in the growing area. It was entertaining, informative, and interactive. Our 5-year-old happily sat through it. We loved the vanilla iced tea to start the tour and ending the tour with the vanilla tasting was a perfect way to embrace everything we learned about vanilla.
The location is gorgeous on the Hamakua Coast. The Vanilla Farm is an old coffee mill, so it’s steeped in local history. This is a great short activity or nice lunch stop if you’re staying in Hilo or making a day trip from Kailua-Kona.
