Maui Fishing Charter Details
Board the Marjorie Ann fishing boat in the morning for a chance to catch some bottom fish for lunch or dinner! This is a great activity to do with the kids as the calm waters and small group atmosphere allows for the captain and crew to help everyone out for a chance to catch fish. Anything you catch you get the option to take home, and the crew will clean it for you.
This fishing charter was recommended to us by Captain Anna of Maui Custom Charters. It leaves from Ma’alaea Harbor which is convenient when staying in West or South Maui.
Set out for 4 hours on the water, leaving at 7:30am (check-in at 7:00am).
Cast your line for several species of fish including snappers, jacks, and marlin. Take as much of your catch as you’d like and the crew even takes care of cleaning it for you!
Bring your own refreshments. If you know you’ll get hungry be sure to pack a lunch or snacks. You’ll be fishing for your dinner.
Maui Fishing Charter FAQ
What is the cancellation policy?
Charter is based on weather so if for whatever reason the weather is not appropriate to fish on a given day, you will be given the option for a refund or to reschedule for another day.
What should I bring?
- Water or any drinks you would like to enjoy other than water
- Reef-safe sunscreen
- Hat
- Sunglasses (polarized if you have them, we like Goodr)
- Snacks, if you wish
- Gratuity for your hard working captain and crew
- A sense of adventure!
What if I get seasick?
This is a pretty smooth ride, but if you have a tendency to get motion or seasick be sure to take the appropriate medication as directed before coming out on the water.
Will I get wet?
There’s always a chance of splashes on the boat, but since you won’t be getting in the water, you don’t have to wear full swimming gear if you don’t want to. Just come prepared for some potential splashing.
