I have always found myself checking Maui webcams for a bit of escapism. If it is raining or cold outside my office window, I head to the best Maui webcams for an ocean view.
I have a go-to webcam located on Ka’anapali Beach, on the Whaler condo complex. The Maui Live Webcam is my oasis for whale watching, beach and weather conditions, and a free escape to Maui.

Thanks to all the Maui business owners, hotel managers, real estate agents, and property managers who operate these webcams. It fills my heart with joy when there are always 9 to 14 folks watching the live feeds.
Here is a collection of the best Maui webcams from resorts, vacation rentals, and unique spots. I am also including our Maui-area guides for the webcam’s location. Enjoy!

Aloha! I’m Jordan,
Co-founder of The Hawai’i Vacation Guide with my wife Erica. After living on both Maui and Oʻahu, we’ve turned our passion for the islands into a resource that cuts through the tourist noise. We share genuine experiences—from snorkeling spots to hikes—and connect travelers with authentic Hawaiian culture and ʻāina (land). Our mission is simple: make your Hawaiian adventure both seamless and meaningful.
Thanks for joining us on the journey—aloha and happy travels!
Best South Maui Webcams
These Maui webcams are working at the time of publication. If a webcam is down, please email us so we can keep this list up to date.

Webcams 1 through 13 on this list are on the leeward (dry) side of Maui, in the major resort areas. These webcams are set up to help visitors see current conditions, get a taste of Maui, and sell you on their condo complex or hotel.
1. Grand Wailea Resort on Wailea Beach
Grand Wailea Resort’s webcam overlooking Wailea Beach.
This Maui webcam is located on the Grand Wailea Resort in Wailea, South Maui. The view shows their adult pool in the foreground and Wailea Beach in the background.
We have stayed at the Grand Wailea numerous times, as we enjoy the large pool and grottos. They recently remodeled the large resort, putting it back on our list of Maui’s top resorts. Read our full Grand Wailea Review and click below to watch a tour of the resort.
3. Wailea Beach Resort Webcam
The Wailea Beach Resort’s webcam is an excellent view of Maui! Ulua Beach, with the point between Ulua and Mokapu Beaches, is in the foreground. That point is a good place to swim with sea turtles. The camera is looking north towards Kihei, Ma’alaea Harbor, and the West Maui Mountains, which stand tall with their windmills.
Wailea Beach Resort, a Marriott property, is a gem in South Maui. We enjoy staying here for access to Wailea Beach, the sprawling gardens, Hawaiian activities, and their pools. You can find our full Wailea Beach Resort Review here.

2. Charley Young Beach in Kihei
Thanks to Maui Real Estate for posting this Maui webcam on Charley Young Beach. Charley Young is near a rocky outcropping on Kamaole I Beach in central Kihei.
This is a great beach to snorkel for Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles!

4. Kamaole II Beach Surf Cam
The Kamaole Beaches (I, II, and III) are what make Kihei a top Maui resort area. No Maui webcam list is complete without showing one of these beaches.
Thank you to the Hale Pau Hana for hosting this Maui surf cam. I love that name for a vacation rental complex, as it means House of the Happy Hour.

5. Sugar Beach in North Kihei
We have two Sugar Beach webcams for you!
Mounted on top of Sugar Beach Resort, this cam looks down on one of the longest beaches on Maui, at more than 5 miles.
The Maui webcam below, Sugar Beach, offers a better, though narrower, view of the shorebreak and water conditions than the webcam above. The camera is also of higher resolution.
6. Kalama Beach Park in Kihei
This Kihei webcam looks out onto South Kihei Road and Kalama Beach Park. There isn’t a great view of the surf or Cove Beach Park, a popular surf spot.
The camera is mounted on Maui Wave Riders, a great surf school for lessons!
Note: It takes the website a few seconds to load the webcam; give it some time.
7. Makena Webcam
Makena has become a luxury condo and home area on Maui. It sits under Haleakala and boasts some amazing beaches and lava field hikes. Our favorite Molokini Crater Snorkel Tour departs from Maluaka Beach in Makena.

West Maui Webcams
Finally, we make it to West Maui. Home to the Ka’anapali Resorts, Lahaina Town, and the bays of northwest Maui. Luckily, there are Maui webcams at all the major beaches.
Enjoy views of Kaanapali Beach all the way to Napili Bay. Let me know when Kapalua Bay gets one!
8. Maui Live Webcam of Ka’anapali Beach
My favorite Maui Webcam is brought to you by the Maui Live Cam YouTube Channel. The second-best Hawaii YouTube Channel after the team at The Hawai’i Vacation Guide.
The Kaanapali Beach Live webcam on the Whaler is always my go-to Maui webcam.
The comments section is as entertaining as the view. They are from folks who love the island.
9. Sheraton Maui Resort on Black Rock Beach
We are fan favorites of the Sheraton Maui Resort on Black Beach, Ka’anapali. The resort boasts a large pool with lagoons, a wonderful Maui luau, and a webcam sitting atop the famous Black Rock cliff-diving spot.
See our links below to learn more about the Sheraton Maui and its luau.
Is the YouTube video below not working? Click here for the Sheraton Maui’s webcam of Ka’anapali Beach.
10. Royal Lahaina Resort’s Webcam
Looking out onto North Ka’anapali Beach, just south of Airport Beach. You can see the tip of Black Rock on Keka’a Point.
The Royal Lahaina is a single tower with a pool along the ocean. It sits on sprawling grounds with bungalows for rent. The hotel is a bit dated, but the nightly rate is a good value. They have a luau on site, but we prefer our Best Maui Luaus list.
11. Ka’anapali Beach from the Maui Kai Condos
We continue our march up West Maui to the next beachfront webcam.
Thank you to the team at the Maui Kai Condos for sharing this webcam of North Ka’anapali Beach. The Maui Kai is located north of the Ka’anapali Resorts in Honokowai.

13. Honokeana Cove Turtle Cam
Turtles! Honokeana Cove is just south of Napili Bay. It is the place to visit to see sea turtles. The Honokeana Cove is a small condo complex at the base of the bay. Check out our review here: Honokeana Cove.
14. Honokowai Surf Cam
North Ka’anapali, just south of Kahana, is the area of Honokowai. Check out the surf cam below for ocean conditions.
Hale Mahina Beach Resort’s Webcam
Upcountry Maui Webcam
We are leaving the beaches of South and West Maui for a taste of Upcountry Maui. We head up here to visit Haleakala National Park, tour the farms, and take in the bi-coastal views.
