It’s quite a romantic image, and maybe even something you’ve envisioned as being part of your dream vacation to Hawaii. You can get that quintessential movie scene vacation experience with daytime or sunset rides.

Oahu Horseback Riding on the Beach Tour Options
Surf & Turf Package: 2 Tours
If you want to get the best of the mountains and a beach ride, this is the package to choose. You’ll get to book two tours at 1.5 hours each. The trail locations are about an hour away from one another (click for directions to turf location), so you’ll want to book your 2nd ride on a different day.
Sunshine Beach Horseback Ride
This is a great daytime horseback ride along a beach trail. You can book either a private or group experience with up to 8 riders. Rides are available daily at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, or 4:00pm.
Sunset Beach Horseback Ride
Get your movie moment watching the sun dip below the ocean on horseback. You can also book a private or group experience with up to 8 riders. Rides are available Monday through Saturday at 6:00pm.

What to Wear
- Closed toe shoes are required for this ride.
- Wearing long pants and sunglasses are recommended.
- Helmets are provided and are required for this ride.
- Backpacks, bags, and bulky camera equipment will not be allowed on the horse for the ride.
Age Requirements
Children have to be 8 years or older in order to participate.
Cancellation Policy
They have a firm 48 hour cancellation policy. Guests must arrive 30 minutes prior to tour start time, and they have a cutoff of 15 minutes prior to start in order to gear up.
Can Guests Trot or Canter?
The trail is a guided walking trail along the beach. The sand in Hawaii is too deep for the horses to go faster than a walk. Safety is the top priority for both the guests and horses, so they do not permit trotting or cantering.
