Road to Hana Backside Tour Details
Let someone else drive so you can truly soak up the Road to Hana. The route is long and can be difficult for travelers who are not familiar with the roads, so let a local guide take care of the hard part and get you to all of the best stops along the way.
You can get 10% off this Road to Hana tour by Valley Isle Excursions that takes the traditional route, but it can sell out. This tour is a popular option, namely for the unique stops along the backside of Haleakala. This is one of our preferred Road to Hana Routes.
During the tour you will get to learn from local guide about the history of the land you’re driving through as you traverse different landscapes on your way to Hana. You will stop at Pua’aka’a State Wayside Park, Waianapanapa State Park, and the Grand Canyon of Hana. You’ll get the chance to swim beneath a waterfall, circle the entire base of the Haleakala volcano, and walk on the famous black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park.
This backside tour is also offered as a private tour for your group only, for up to 14 guests per van.
