Haleakala & Iao Valley Details
This Maui volcanoes tour was designed for Pride of America cruise ship passengers to take advantage of seeing more of the island on their second day docked at the harbor.
This tour isn’t exclusive to cruise passengers, and the Kahului meeting point is close to the airport, making it an excellent option for a red-eye flight from Maui!
Budding volcanologists will love exploring the two volcanoes that make up the island. Everyone knows Haleakala, the popular sunrise (and sunset) destination, but fewer dig into Mauna Kahalawai, more commonly known as the West Maui Mountains. This tour gets you a ticket to visit both in one day!
Go to the summit of Haleakala at over 10,000 feet, where you can see all the way out to the Big Island on a clear day. Then head to Iao Valley State Park, one of the entrances to Mauna Kahalawai. Clear space on your phone because this is a day full of postcard-worthy photo opportunities!

This tour is somewhat accessible for wheelchair users. One collapsible or folding wheelchair will fit in the vehicle, but it is not provided for guests.
